Stylist
Michelle Martini is a Costume Designer and Celebrity Stylist for film, television and
advertising. Her extensive body of work in these genres has not only afforded her
industry recognition, it has also provided her the opportunity to work with clients
such as Apple, HBO, Netflix, BMW, Amazon, Delta, Barclay Card, American Express,
NBA, NFL, Coke and many other high profile brands. Also notable are the
collaborations with celebrities such as Jenifer Aniston, Salma Hayak, Christopher
Walken, Al Pacino, Andy Garcia, Ashton Kutcher, Leslie Mann, Nicolaj CosterWaldau, Timothee Chalamet and numerous others.
She has worked directly with many reputable directors in the film, television and
commercial industry including Kathryn Bigalow, Mark Molloy, Bryan Buckley, Peter
Berg, Taika Waititi, Spike Lee, Todd Field, Lance Acord, Barry Sonnenfeld, Ringan
Ledwidge, and Wayne McClammy. In 2012 Michelle was nominated for a Costume
Designers Guild Award for Excellence in Commercial Short Form Costume Design
for Target/Black Friday.
Her work with artist Stan Douglas and David Zwirner Gallery has recently been
showcased at the Whitney Museum and the Venice Biennale. Most recently she
headed the Costume Design for Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley directed by Mark
Molloy for Jerry Bruckheimer Films and Netflix. Michelle Martini also founded Staf
Studios, a custom uniform and bespoke design studio for branded apparel and
merchandise for hospitality and events.
