Casting Director

Erica Palgon, CSA, is a veteran casting director, whose career spans 30 years in the entertainment industry and embodies an array of commercial, film, and tv projects. She has been retained by tv, film and commercial producers and directors who recognize her keen eye for talent and ability to creatively direct auditions for projects including Global Girls Alliance PSA featuring Michelle Obama, Comedy Central’s comedic commercials/promos, TruTV comedy series “Blank Meets Blank” for Rachel Dratch’s Late Night Snack, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, Sesame Street, Discovery Channel “Mind Blown” a children’s series and co-cast History Channel’s “Food That Built America” Season 4 and 5. Recently she cast commercial campaigns for All State, Ticketmaster, Noom and Amazon. 

In addition to running her own company, Erica has worked freelance for Grey Advertising casting for their top clients (Longhorn, Pantene, Gillette, Pringles, Febreze, Olive Garden, Trulicity, TJ Maxx, Abreva, Advil, Hasbro), Telsey & Co (cast Discover, Dunkin, Dollar Shave Club, Uber, GE) and Kipperman Casting (cast Gillette/Bic Razor, Macy’s, Applebees, Hyundai, Revlon). Erica also worked for 10 years at Susan Shopmaker Casting collaborating on castings for “Can You Hear Me Now” Verizon guy, indie films Hedwig and The Angry Inch, Series 7, Shortbus, Party Monster, Great World of Sound, and NY casting for Mean Girls, Something’s Gotta Give, The Holiday. 

Erica graduated Ithaca College with degrees in Communications, Theater and Writing. She loves comedy and storytelling, which led her to take improv classes at The People’s Improv Theater, storytelling at The Magnet, Autobiographical Comedy Writing, and she performed in the comedic storytelling show “Mortified'' at Littlefield in Brooklyn, NY.
