Executive Producer, Alfredo Films
Holly Rowden is an EP and partner at Alfredo. Born in China, raised in small town Ontario, Holly’s purchase of her first camcorder quickly turned into a life-long passion and dream to bring unique stories to life through motion picture. She has years of experience as an EP and producer and can make any project happen with sheer will-power (and her cell phone, of course). Starting in the low-budget feature realm, she learned how to build something from nothing, and has carried that skillset forward into the better-funded universe of commercial production, producing TVC’s for both national and global brands. Avid-reader and enjoyer of all the small things, like a well balanced budget, Holly will take the vision and make it a cinematic reality.
As one of Toronto’s few BIPOC (Jamaican, Chinese, Indian) and female-owned commercial production companies, Alfredo’s unique lens invites collaboration with creators all over the world, representing directors in Canada, the US, Europe and the Middle East. Their recent accomplishments include the “#blackedouthistory” campaign for the Ontario Black History Society, which garnered multiple awards rom the ADCC, Marketing Awards, Applied Arts, LIAA, Epica Awards, One Show, and was featured on CP24, Breakfast Television, TVO, CBC, CTV, Global News, The Toronto Star. Their latest video for “The Black Elevation Map” campaign by Performance Art and Black & Abroad launched on February 1st 2022 and has so far been featured on Ad Week, AdAge and Muse by Clio.
