Sylvia M. Zakhary is an entrepreneur, film producer and the founder & CEO of MAMAG Group, a holding company home to award-winning subsidiaries focused on story-telling across multiple sectors and industries. Zakhary is Egyptian-American, born in New York City and raised throughout East Africa & the Middle East. Molded and shaped by the cross-cultural landscape of her upbringing, Zakhary’s body of work focuses on cultural authenticity, pivoting between advertising, film & TV, fashion, advocacy and technology, as seen across Mamag’s portfolio of subsidiaries. 

In September 2019, Zakhary was celebrated by Variety Magazine as one of the Top Ten Storytellers to Watch in 2020. Her collaborations with actor-director Donald Glover, including the series “Donald Glover Presents'', have garnered numerous awards and accolades, including the 2020 Webby Award for Best Video Series. Her most recent producing credits include BLACK IS KING by Beyoncé, currently streaming on Disney+. 

Her portfolio has recently expanded to include PHLEMUNS, an LA-based fashion brand, and GOOD METAL, an advocacy brand focused on reducing gun violence in the US set to launch in 2023. Both brands have been championed by the likes of Solange, Bella Hadid and congresswoman, Melissa Mark-Viverito. Zakhary is also the founder of Storyhouse Foundation, a private member-based community and vertically integrated platform dedicated to celebrating creatives of color. In 2020, Mamag Studios was celebrated as the 4th Fastest Growing Agency Worldwide by Adweek. Zakhary is represented by UTA.
