Natasha Newman-Thomas is an award-winning costume designer and stylist based in Los Angeles. Known for her sense of humor, idiosyncratic eye for avant garde fashion, and her hyper-realistic, character-driven costume design, Newman-Thomas possesses a unique curiosity and range. Her work spans film, commercials, music videos, stage, fashion editorials, and experimental artworks. In 2019, Newman-Thomas’s work on Childish Gambino’s landmark “This Is America” music video won the Costume Designers Guild Award for Short Form Design. She has been nominated in the same category this year for her work on Yeah Yeah Yeahs "Spitting Off The Edge Of The World". The Idol, her first collaboration with director Sam Levinson, is premiering on HBO in 2023.
