Executive Producer, World War Seven
Sloane Hayes Skala is an Executive Producer at World War Seven, where she represents a talented roster of heavy-hitter comedy directors. Sloane grew up in Hollywood, the granddaughter of Oscar winning screenwriter John Michael Hayes – Alfred Hitchcock’s writing partner, of such classics as Rear Window. Sloane’s first job as a commercial producer was on Dannon’s 2011 SuperBowl spot, starring John Stamos. She then produced and EP’ed RedBull’s first ever narrative property, a 2012 web series that was one of the first major branded projects to use influencers as talent, and also served as HoP of RedBull TV during that time. From there, Sloane was a freelance commercial line producer for a decade, traveling the world and producing award-winning global campaigns with a myriad of celebrity directors and talent. Her freelance career culminated in 2021, when she both line produced and EP’ed the global brand relaunch for Tiffany & Co jewelry, starring Beyonce and Jay-Z – a campaign that took over Times Square, as well as a dozen other major city centers. From there, she was brought on as an Executive Producer at The Directors Bureau (Roman Coppola) and Bullitt Branded (The Russo Brothers), where she represented directors such as Wes Anderson, Sofia Coppola, Emmanuel Adjei, Anthony Leonardi, and Eric Andre. There, she oversaw such projects as the recent global brand relaunch of Absolut Vodka, Chanel’s summer campaign by Sofia Coppola, Beyoncé’s 2022 album films, and Louis Vuitton’s holiday by Roman Coppola. After 2 years at The Directors Bureau, Sloane was scooped up by World War Seven, where she is newly the lead Executive Producer, and is having a blast overseeing a portfolio including David Shafei’s much lauded “Oreo Vault” campaign, Lizzy Born’s stylish and celeby “Vogue x Grey Goose” holiday films, and MAMA’s daring and dark “Dave’s Hot Chicken” spots. She is thrilled to be asked to serve as a judge this year in the ‘Best New Director’ category, which aligns with her mission to seek out, develop and foster new talent with fresh voices.
