José Arnal was born on June 6, 1967 in Buenos Aires.
At the age of 7 he went to live in Córdoba, where he graduated as a humanist bachelor from the National College of Monserrat.
He decided not to pursue a university degree.
Between the ages of 17 and 24, he carried out different jobs, until in 1991 he started working as a production assistant in one of the largest advertising film production companies in Buenos Aires. He embraced the profession and fell in love with it. He worked for more than eight years in the most important production companies in the market, gaining years of experience as an assistant and production manager for the most relevant directors.
In 1999, together with Esteban Sapir, he founded the production company Ladoble, positioning itself from the beginning as one of the important companies in Argentina and working with top-level agencies and advertisers.
Ladoble was multi-awarded at the most important festivals: Cannes Lions Festival (14 Lions), Diente (44 awards), Lápiz de Platino (27 awards), El Ojo de Iberoamérica (29 awards, one of them for being the second best film production company in Argentina), Fiap (23 awards, one of them for being the best film production company in Argentina), Sol From Latin America (15 awards), Effie (8 awards), The One Show (2 awards, one of them, for being one of the best 10 film production companies in the world).
In 2019 Ladoble landed Mexico to open an office there, where they quickly occupied a place among the most important in the Mexican market.
A few years later, in 2021, Ladoble opened its offices in Madrid.
In 2022 he took his first steps in Miami and established an alliance with a film production company in the US market.
José is married and has 3 children. He speaks Italian and English. He is an Argentine and Italian citizen, passionate about music and polo.
