Composer / Sound Designer / Producer
South African born Sean Williams is a composer, award winning sound designer, producer and multi-instrumentalist. His ambient compositions are atmospheric, peaceful pastures and soundscapes.
With almost 2 decades worth of experience Sean spent 10 years in the bustling African city of Johannesburg and for 8 of those years Sean worked for one of the country’s top postproduction studios – Sterling Sound with Lorens Persson. At Sterling Sound, Sean worked as a sound designer and composer on TV commercials, documentaries, TV series and short films for some of the country’s biggest brands and names. In this role Sean has won ‘The Grand Prix Loeries Award’ (2019), ‘The Gold Film Craft Pendoring Award’ (2019) and ‘The Silver Loeries Award’ (2019) to name a few.
Sean is currently setting up his own studio for Sound Design and Music Composition in Napa Valley, California, where he lives with his wife and 3 boys.
