Karlijn Paardekooper is the Managing Partner and Executive Producer of CZAR Amsterdam, an award-winning production house and photography agency. With over 16 years of experience in the film industry, with offices all over Europe, she has had an extensive career travelling all over the world.
Karlijn kick-started her career as a Producer at CZAR Amsterdam. After a few years, her ambition and passion for film led her into the role of Head of the Comrad department, a branch which focused on talent development for young directors.
In 2015, she was promoted to Executive Producer of the Czar Amsterdam office. Under her leadership, CZAR produced several global campaigns for some of the world’s biggest brands. She has been recognized for her successful and enduring relationship with top tier agencies, clients, directors and photographers.
Karlijn believes in creative diversity and supporting the young talent within the industry. Because of her vision, CZAR’s roster has flourished into a high-end creative community.
Over the years she has earned multiple awards at Cannes Lions, Eurobest, Ciclope and D&AD.
