Nicole Powell is a freelance filmmaker with nearly 15 years of experience in commercial projects. She works with directors and production companies across Los Angeles and London, delivering acclaimed and award-winning work.
Her music video and commercial work has been recognised with awards and nominations at most of the major industry award shows, including Cannes, MTV VMAs, UKMVAs, Clios, AICP Awards, Shots Awards, D&AD, Kinsale Sharks, British Arrows, and also includes the Grand Jury Prize at SXSW. Her work has been featured in publications such as Rolling Stone, AdAge, LBB, shots, and The Wall Street Journal.
Powell has a passion for character-driven storytelling and a drive to create impactful and innovative narratives with a focus on the unique facets of the human condition. She carries these sentiments into her more recent endeavours in long-format work and is currently collaborating with some of her favourite people on several exciting projects.
