Founder / Executive Producer, The Light

Becky Morrison is an award-winning producer, renowned for her advocacy and focus on production innovation. 

Morrison’s cinematic journey began with the Hollywood blockbuster I Am Legend. She went on to work in animation on Disney’s feature film The Wild. She then entered the world of rock ’n’ roll, producing the visual content for the band U2’s 360 World Tour. 

In the span of her career, Morrison has produced hundreds of projects for clients such as Netflix, Apple, NBC, A&E, Hulu, and Disney, as well as the Emmy-nominated opening for NBC’s Sunday Night Football. 

In 2016, she produced To Be Free, a short film about Nina Simone, which was acquired by the Criterion Collection as well as the Smithsonian Museum’s permanent collection. 

Morrison is the founder and CEO of The Light, a commercial production company dedicated to catalysing systemic change in the film industry. She has spent years studying the history of Hollywood and uses her research to inform a new framework for conscious production.
