Kevin Krouglow is a composer, producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist with a focus on film, TV, and games. He wrote the score for Eat Wheaties!, an award-winning feature film by Scott Abramovitch starring Tony Hale, Paul Walter Hauser, Elisha Cuthbert, and David Walton. He has also composed the score for over 120 episodes of TV, including two seasons of the Disney Worldwide and Family Channel show Backstage and two seasons of the Family Channel show The Next Step.
Some of his other credits include the award-winning feature film Trench 11 starring Rossif Sutherland, Full Out starring Ana Golja, and Play, The Film, written and produced by Kelly McCormack, which earned him a nomination for "Best Soundtrack" at the London International Film Festival in 2013. He also scored the Nintendo Switch video game Skies of Fury: DX.
Krouglow’s music has been featured in the Maple Leafs’ 100th Year Home Opener and in numerous commercials for clients including Adidas, Air Canada, Boston Pizza, Campbell’s, Chevrolet, BMO, eBay, Kia, Kraft, Lexus, McDonald’s, OLG, Porsche, Sephora, Shomi, Subaru, Telus, Tim Hortons, Toyota, TD Bank, Wendy’s, and the World Wildlife Fund.
He regularly works as a freelance composer with TA2 Sound + Music, Pirate Sound, and Vapor Music, and worked full-time as an in-house composer for just under four years at Grayson Matthews (now known as Grayson Music), an award-winning audio house in Toronto, Canada, from 2013 to 2017.
In addition to his work as a composer, Krouglow has assisted Andrew Lockington as a researcher and score prep assistant on projects including Frontier, Daybreak, and Pirate's Passage, and worked as a music editor for Tom Third on the TV show Played.
