Managing Director & EP, Stink Films US
Ben Davies is one of those British ad guys now living in the US. He came for two years on a tempo visa and, 13 years later, finds himself a Green Card holder living in LA with an American child.
Davies is a multi-award-winning producer, currently serving as Managing Director/EP of Stink Films.
Prior to this, Davies spent time in leadership roles at CANADA, Pulse Films, and Furlined. His role has always been to elevate creative thinking and product, through operations and execution. Developing talent and brand integrity has always been top of his agenda.
Before joining the production side in 2016, Davies spent over 20 years on the agency side, starting his career at BBH London, working across the full portfolio of brands before moving to NYC to join Droga5 as EP and, shortly after, Head of Production.
On both sides of the industry, Davies has picked up multiple awards at festivals, including multiple Grand Prix at Cannes, D&AD Black Pencils for the NYT campaigns, BTAA, ADC, Clio, and shots.
Now with Stink Films and looking at the next phase of this challenging industry, Davies is focused on creative operations and putting his attention towards discovering and developing new talent. For that very reason, this shots jury is very exciting and a privilege to be part of.
