Executive Producer & Founder, Rebeca Producciones

Alejandro Noriega is a Peruvian producer and businessman with over twenty-five years in the audiovisual industry. He studied at Instituto Peruano de Publicidad (IPP) and has a Master’s in Marketing and Commercial Direction in Cesma (Madrid).

Noriega is a Founding Partner and Executive Producer in companies that have made a difference in the Peruvian business. In 2012, he founded Rebeca Productions, the matrix of two major production houses: SANTIAGO, focused on branded content and audiovisual production, and SHOOT PERÚ, dedicated to providing audiovisual production services from Peru to the world.

Rebeca maintains strategic contacts worldwide and is part of the PRODUCTION SERVICE NETWORK, an experienced business network offering audiovisual services in more than 80 countries.

In 2011, Noriega was elected president of the jury for audiovisual production techniques at FIAP, becoming the first Peruvian to preside over a jury at an international festival. More than a hundred international awards support his trajectory, including: Cannes Lions, FIAP, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, London International Awards, CLIO, The New York Festival, The One Show, El Sol, and more.

In the film industry, in addition to having projects selected at the most important festivals in the world, a standout achievement is the production of El Silencio del Río, a short film that, after winning twenty-two festivals, was pre-nominated for the Oscars in 2021.

A teacher and leader in his field, in 2007, Noriega was nominated President of the Association of Advertising Film Producers of Peru (APCPP), where he successfully managed the reactivation of audiovisual production in the context of COVID-19.

Recently, Rebeca was awarded Best Production Company in Peru (2023) at the El Ojo de Iberoamérica Festival, as well as at Premio Ideas, an important award for local advertising in Peru. In 2024, it became the first Peruvian production company to win one of the most prestigious awards for audiovisual craft: the Grand Prix at El Cíclope Latino, held in Brazil— an award that also makes it the house that hosts the winner of the Best Director of Ibero-America at the same festival.

In June of the same year, Rebeca made history by becoming the first Peruvian company to accumulate 16 Cannes Lions in a single edition: 1 Grand Prix, 5 Golds, 5 Silvers, and 5 Bronzes. This success was achieved with four different international-scale projects for Peru, the United States, and Germany.
