Ashley Benton is an accomplished Executive Producer at Barking Owl, bringing over a decade of experience in the Post-Production Music & Sound industry. She began her career at Barking Owl in 2015, joining the Los Angeles office in Client Services before steadily advancing to her current leadership role as Executive Producer.
In 2021, Benton took on an exciting new challenge by relocating to New York to open Barking Owl’s first satellite location. Under her leadership, the location quickly established itself as a leading creative hub, earning recognition as a household name on the East Coast.
Throughout her career, Benton has played an instrumental role in delivering high-profile projects, including several Super Bowl ads. She has also spearheaded some of Barking Owl’s most socially impactful and culturally significant work, such as LFG—a documentary chronicling the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team’s lawsuit for equal pay—and Corazón, a film raising awareness for organ donation.
Prior to joining Barking Owl, Benton began her career in film and digital production after graduating from UCLA. Her experience and passion for storytelling continue to fuel her drive for excellence in every project she oversees.
