Lisa Mehling is an Emmy award-winning Producer and Owner of independent production company Chelsea Pictures.
Chelsea, a creative content company with production offices in New York, Los Angeles and London has cultivated a unique and diverse culture of filmmakers who are leaders in advertising, digital, film, television and photography. Lisa’s love for and commitment to the art and business of filmmaking is reflected in Chelsea’s critical and commercial success.
As one of the few women owned and managed commercial production companies, Lisa relishes her platform to help our industry become more inclusive and equitable as well as leverage impact to get behind some of the most pressing issues of our time. A member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the Sundance Institute and the International Documentary Association, Lisa currently serves as Vice Chairperson of the Association of Commercial Producers (AICP).
Raised in Southern California, Lisa has long called New York City her home and lives the East Village with her family.
