Norah Elkhateeb is a distinguished film and television producer based in Cairo, boasting a remarkable 14-year career in the film and TV commercials industry. As the founder of CATS Films and an Associate Producer at Famico Games, a Los Angeles-based video game company, Norah has established herself as a prominent figure in both regional and international entertainment landscapes. Her diverse expertise encompasses high-budget TV commercials, films, documentaries, short films, and music videos, reflecting her versatility and creative vision.

Throughout her career, Norah has collaborated on commercials for a wide range of international and Middle Eastern brands, including Vodafone, Pepsico, P&G, and Henkel, among others.

Norah's recent achievements underscore her continued impact in the film industry. In 2024, she served as a jury member for the short film pitch program at the El Gouna Film Festival. That same year, she produced "Dawn Every Day," a short film directed by Amir Youssef, which premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh in Ireland and is slated for its UK premiere at the 68th BFI London Film Festival. The film will also screen at the Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival, Rhode Island Film Festival, Norwich Film Festival, and Woodstock Film Festival. Another notable 2024 project is "The Last Dismissal," a Saudi short film directed by Jawaher Elamri, which premiered at the Hollywood Film Festival and is shortlisted for Best Short Film at the Cairo International Film Festival.

Elkhateeb’s earlier works have also garnered acclaim. In 2022, she produced "The Interview," directed by Hind Mitwally, which premiered at the 42nd Cairo International Film Festival and was nominated for Best Short Film. She co-produced "Tsunami" (2020), a short film by Alissa Autschbach, and "We're by the Sea" (2019), directed by Hala Elkoussy, which premiered at the Cairo International Film Festival and received a nomination for Best Short Film. Additionally, her work on "House of the Flying Architect" (2018), directed by Ahmed Tahoun, was featured at Egypt’s pavilion during the 2018 London Design Biennale, where it won the Best Overall Contribution Medal.

In addition to her successful projects in TV commercials and films, Elkhateeb holds an MA in International Film Business from the London Film School and Exeter University. Her studies were supported by the Sawiris Foundation for Arts and Culture Scholarship. During her time in London, she gained valuable experience in sales and distribution as the Acquisitions Manager's Assistant at Taskovski Films, one of London’s leading documentary distribution and sales companies.

Currently, Elkhateeb is working on several projects in development, including "YA & Niki," a feature co-production between Italy, Egypt, and Lebanon, directed by Ra Di Martino. This project recently won the Fabrica Award at Fidlab Marseille, further cementing Elkhateeb’s reputation as a dynamic and forward-thinking producer in the global film industry. Additionally, she is developing the Egyptian/French co-production "Rock, Paper, Salt," which has been selected for pitching at the Cinemed Montpellier International Festival of Mediterranean Film.
