After receiving her BA-degree in 2003 at Amsterdam University in publishing, Nienke was asked by a friend to help on a set of the Amsterdam Film Academy as a 2nd assistant. After this first experience on a filmset, she instantly knew that this was the world for her, after which she made her first steps in the commercial film industry as an office manager at Cellusion Films & Content in Amsterdam.
Within months she worked her way up from Office Manager to Production Manager to Producer and has been going strong ever since for a solid two decades already. By now as the person who fully runs the Internationally acclaimed production house Cellusion Films & Content based in The Netherlands.
She loves to put the greatest people together to create a solid and safe environment from where you can make the best work. Her communication skills, her dedication and love for the job and the people make her a well-loved producer by everyone that has worked with her so far, both clients and crew. She loves to work abroad and is thankful for all the travelling she gets to do, from bigger sets to smaller stills jobs, it doesn’t matter as long as she has a great team to make it all work. All her many international productions have transformed her into a well-seasoned and experienced producer who’s capable to create production magic anywhere between the North and South Pole of this wonderful planet.
