Graduating from Cape Town AFDA top of his class Kyle quickly made a name for himself as one of Africa’s most acclaimed music video directors. Today Kyle transitions seamlessly between music videos and advertising both in Africa and abroad. His keen instinct, flair for youth culture and by consistently pushing boundaries in-camera sees him teaming up with local and international artists such as Kid Crème, Mollie King (formerly from the Saturday’s), Cassper Nyovest, Riky Rik, Nasty C, Toya De Lazy, Tumi, The Parlotones, Locnville, Goodluck, Zakwe, Rogue and Anatii.

Kyle's music videos have raked up over ten million hits on YouTube and have won multiple Best Music Video awards at the South African Music Awards (SAMA), MTV Base and SA Hip Hop Awards.

Kyle joined Egg Films in 2018 bringing a fresh look to traditional advertising. He has since been in demand by brands such as Heineken, BMW, Nike, Volkswagen, Absolut, Vodacom, AB Inbev, and Distell to name a few. More recently Kyle's unique style caught the eye of Tony Petersen Films and in the short time he has been represented by them in Germany he has worked with big brands such as EWI and Nivea.

Advertising accolades include Gold & Silver Loeries, Silver Bookmark and Apex awards, and eight features on shots in just over two years – the most of any South African director during this time.
