Kaya started her career in the South African film industry in live action post-production and took the leap into producing animation at Triggerfish in 2017. Since then, she has line produced critically acclaimed short films ‘Zog’ and ‘The Snail and The Whale’. She recently co-produced Triggerfish’s exciting new feature film ‘Seal Team’ which is set to release at the end of 2021.
As a senior studio producer, she forms an integral part of the production team at Triggerfish and is passionate about helping young and aspiring producers break into the industry.
Currently she is based in Johannesburg, South Africa and is series producing Disney’s ‘Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire’ at Triggerfish whilst supporting the studios in-house productions.
