Creative Director, UltraSuperNew Tokyo
After graduating in 2003 from Kwansei Gakuin University with a BA in Policy Studies, Yousuke packed his bags, said goodbye to Tokyo and headed off to New York to learn how to become a creative at the infamous, and really quite prestigious Miami Ad School where he learnt how to hone his conceptual skills.
His first role was at Dentsu in New York where he learnt art direction. Then, with a taste for the finer things in life, Yousuke was drawn to an inhouse creative role at fashion house Coach New York and then to beauty brand Elizabeth Arden New York. Creative roles at Ogilvy Tokyo, Weber Shandwick Tokyo and Havas working on award winning campaigns for SKYN, IBM, American Express, DAZN and Sony Music then followed before arriving at independent creative hotshop, UltraSuperNew to sprinkle some creative magic.
Quite familiar with winning international awards, Yousuke has proudly won Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clio, One Show, Adstars, Spikes, Webby, FWAs and Effie awards.
When Yousuke is not creating commercials and brand communications, he likes to write short stories and spends a lot of time with his wife and kids.
