As trilingual executive producer based in Shanghai with over ten years of international production experience in both advertising, live events and feature film industry, Yimeng opened the Shanghai branch of HAMLETwith a headquarter in Brussels three years ago and has been at the helm as managing partner since.
Born in China, raised in Germany, Yimeng developed a deep understanding of and came to appreciate both Chinese and Western cultures at an early age.
In 2012, she returned to China after graduating with an academic degree in Film Studies to pursue a career in commercial production and has since gained extensive expertise of the Chinese market and creative landscape.
Her past commercial projects included China nation-wide campaigns for international brands such as BMW, JLR, Lincoln, M&M’s, Tommy Hilfiger, HP and L’Oréal, in association with global 4A agencies such as W+K，Ogilvy, McCann, BBDO, Mother and TBWA as well as global campaigns for brands such as Huawei, OPPO and Beats.
