Senior Agency Producer

Margot Fitzpatrick is an award-winning Producer working as both production company and agency producer during her career. Former Executive Producer Broadcast for Leo Burnett Sydney and former Head of Onscreen BWM Dentsu Sydney, she now enjoys working freelance in Australia and New Zealand.

Margot made her mark in the production sector whilst working with director Alex Proyas. From the age of 25 she produced for him worldwide through MEC in Sydney and both Propaganda and Limelight in London and LA.

Based in London, she then went on to work freelance working with Directors in the UK and Los Angeles producing iconic spots for Nike, Budweiser for the Superbowl and the European launch of Sony PlayStation. Her work has been highly awarded at Cannes, D&AD, British Arrows, London International, New York Festival, the ANDYS, Spikes, Adfest & AWARD.

Under her tenure as Head of Onscreen, BWM Dentsu produced the much lauded “Project Revoice” which won the Cannes Grand Prix for Good, as well as a Gold & Silver Lion. This was followed up with “Disease Dilemmas” which she produced for the Garvan Institute of Medical Research raising $19 million for the charity and was awarded the Grand Prix (Pharma) at LIA – a project close to her heart.

Back in 1992 and the days of VHS, Margot introduced “shots” to the Australia & New Zealand market and was responsible for it becoming the benchmark in cutting-edge advertising down-under. For over 15 years, she managed the shots Sydney office sourcing the best creative work from the region, managing distribution, and producing events including “new director” showcases to champion Australian and Kiwi creativity on the world stage.

Margot now works freelance as a Senior Agency Producer - Broadcast with a strong focus on creative collaboration, producing integrated content for all screens.
