Tapan Basu’s career has been distinguished by a series of accolades for his cinematographic
work on advertising films for a diverse array of national and international brands and
production houses. His achievements include winning prestigious awards such as the Spike
Asia Singapore, ABBYs, and the Kyoorius Advertising Award, as well as earning spots on the
shortlists for highly esteemed awards like the One Show New York and Cannes Lions.
In 2016, Tapan Basu filmed Kahaani 2, a mystery-thriller starring Vidya Balan. He followed
this with the cinematography for Romeo Akbar Walter (R.A.W.) in 2019, a film featured in both
