Audio Engineer & Musician, Bang Bang Studios
Sam is a multi-award-winning audio engineer and musician with nearly 30 years’ experience in advertising and postproduction. He spent the first 5 years of his career learning the art of audio production at Flint Webster from legendary Melbourne engineers Philip Webster and Paul le Couteur. There he learnt the art of talent direction and creative recording techniques as well as innovative sound design practices, picking up several awards along the way including a prestigious New York Festivals award for Best Use of Sound.
His career then took him to Good Audio Sense for 6 years and then Shanghai for another 2. Sam was approached by the Sound Lounge in Melbourne to head up their studio, so he packed his bags and retuned to Australia.
After 10 years at the Sound Lounge, he then moved to his current home, Bang Bang Studios, where he continues to create award winning soundtracks for Australia’s most prestigious clients and agencies.
