Uwie Balfas began her career in the industry in 2000 as a freelance Fixer for overseas Video Productions, she has produced numerous TV commercials and feature films.
She is a Co-founder of Lo-Fi Flicks, a Production Company established in the year 2011 and focused on Feature Films. She produces have been internationally acclaimed and one of her full-length features: Is a Copy of My Mind, which was a World Premiere at the Venice Film Festival back in 2015 and the film selected for competition at Orizzonti Section at the same festival.
The love and belief she has for the TV Commercials Industry led her to meet a young and passionate TV Commercial director in the year 2021 and became a partner in her journey with Impala Films focusing on TV Commercials Production.
