Jo’s career has taken her to London, New York, Sydney and her home town Melbourne.  4 years in London saw her work with some of the most iconic companies and creatives  including @radicalmedia and RSA Films and with BAFTA and Emmy award winning director Declan Lowney, and her time in New York saw her produce for Oscar nominated director Bennett Miller at Hungryman, as well as helping to establish Droga5 where Jo was ‘Number 4’.

Recognised as Australia’s best Creative Producer at the B&T Women in Media Awards, and Social Change Maker of the Year, Jo has worked with some of the biggest names and projects in the entertainment and advertising industries worldwide, including, rock stars, politicians, and a US President.

Jo makes up one of the team behind 50 Shades of No, one of few works from Australia to be shortlisted for a Glass Lion; an entirely pro bono initiative launched on IWD 2018. In 2019 she guided 15 year old director Charlotte McLaverty to direct a compelling award winning piece which garnered national acclaim and was supported with music by Billie Eilish. Jo is known as a producer who can make anything happen, with a deft eye for spotting and nurturing talent.

She solely owns and operates her award winning production company OTTO , founded in 2009 and is Co-Founder of creative collaboration startup COTU.

Jo has been invited to judge D&AD, The Young Ones for The One Show, Ciclope Latino and Europe, AWARD Australia and was Jury President for Film Craft at Spikes Asia.

Her credits include films which have screened at MIFF, Toronto, Palm Springs and Cannes Festivals and she was Australian Screen Producers Association ‘Ones to Watch’ 2019 and she sits on the RMIT Advertising Programs Industry Advisory Committee.

Jo is based in Melbourne with her young family, dogs, cat, rabbit, lizard, turtle and a rescue chicken named Delilah.
