Zak started his career as a work experience kid in the Production department at BBH London, where he eventually went on to become a TV Producer. He then moved to Pulse Films to head up the Music Video department, taking up the role of Executive Producer. After three years, he made the move into directing.

His directorial debut, JORDANNE, was officially selected and awarded at numerous global film festivals, as well as picking up shots New Director of the Year. He went on to win gold for Best New Talent at the Creative Circle Awards and shortlisted for
Best New Director at the British Arrow Awards. He is signed to Furlined for worldwide representation.
